This is the situation during tea time at the club lounge. There are dried fruits, cookies, rice crackers, and candies available.

There were six types of dried fruits.

These are black tea and herbal tea. There are also green tea and roasted green tea (houjicha).

Between the espresso machine and the black tea, there are also takeaway cups, which you can take with you when you return to your room.

Cocktail time is a buffet.There is no need to eat out as you will have enough food for dinner.

Hotel Facilities

We would like to introduce the main facilities of JW Marriott Nara. The reception for the pool, jacuzzi, sauna, fitness center, and spa is located on the 4th floor. The fitness center and spa are on the 4th floor, while the pool, jacuzzi, and sauna are on the 5th floor, accessible by elevator.

・Pool

The pool at JW Marriott Nara includes a jacuzzi, allowing you to warm up your chilled body in the pool. It feels so good that you may find it hard to leave. Sunbeds (reclining sofas) are available poolside, allowing you to spend a luxurious time. Large towels for the sunbeds are available next to the locker entrance, so please feel free to use them.

・Sauna

Next to the pool’s locker room, there is a sauna. The inside of the sauna is very clean, and it feels like a newly constructed sauna. A pleasant wooden scent fills the air inside. After heating up in the sauna, take a shower and cool down in the pool. The recommended sequence is Sauna → Pool → Sunbed.

Inside the locker room, bottled mineral water is chilled in the refrigerator. If you get thirsty, you can quickly rehydrate.

・Fitness

JW Marriott Nara is equipped with a gym. Although the gym is not very spacious, it has all the basic equipment. Running machines, cycling machines, weights, and balance balls are the main facilities.

・Spa

JW Marriott Nara has a top-notch spa called SPA BY JW. You can refresh from daily fatigue with aromatherapy by professional therapists.

・Banquet Hall

On the second floor of the hotel, there is a banquet hall. Occasionally, events such as weddings and dinner shows are held here. There are several banquet halls, and the size varies depending on the room.

I stayed in a room with two double beds this time.

There are two single-seater chairs and a table. On the table, there are two Japanese traditional sweets called “Monaka”.

The powder room is designed like a corner, with doors on both sides that open and close. The area around the sink is stylish and exudes a sense of luxury.

The bathroom is fully tiled and is very clean. It also has a luxurious feel, and you can savor the sense of luxury while soaking in the bathtub.
